FARM /|\ boy

FARM boy is a coming-of-age memoir about the loss of my father, the revelation that he was not my biological father, and the subsequent life journeys which follow. Rooted in my experiences growing up neurodivergent in the 1980s, this is a story about grief, discovery, and the ways a small farm—its rugged beauty, comic hardships, and quiet lessons—can still shape and guide me as well as any father figure.

Conrad Knows Best

This is a story about my unconventional (and totally rad) babysitter and his impact on my life. It was originally planned as a single chapter in Fb, although the panels have since expanded. The original script for this chapter was published in the 2023 issue of Portal magazine.

Monsters in the House

Monsters in the House is a semi-autobiographical graphic novel that blurs the line between fact and fiction. It follows the comic exploits of me and my cousins in my grandparents' home—a place steeped in family history and inhabited by monsters, both real and imagined. Blending supernatural folklore with personal narrative, it explores the metaphorical demons passed down through generations, lurking within our bloodlines. Through a mix of humor and horror, I uncover hidden truths and confront the eerie, layered "monsters" dwelling within the walls of my family's legacy…and perhaps, just beyond.

Waking Nightmare

This is a comic short, subsequently animated by the very talented Amelia Watford. It was intended as a chapter for MITH (and may be yet) but for now, it lives on its own.

Piles

Piles is a casually drawn comic strip, reimagining my neurodivergent family as the sole animals in a world of humans and the often comical struggles we endure.
